Minda Schweizer is the Founder and President of Home for Refugees USA. She has a Master of Divinity from Fuller Theological Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of California San Diego. She was a campus minister for over 15 years and now is a pastor in Orange County, California. Her interest in refugee resettlement began in 2015 with following media reports highlighting the plight of refugees. In 2016, while the community outreach director at a church in Irvine, California, Minda began a church partnership with World Relief. She led two volunteer teams to help resettle two families, one from Iraq and one from Afghanistan. After witnessing the heartfelt impact the resettlement partnership had on both, the two families and the volunteers involved, she founded Home for Refugees USA.
